Vegan Harvest

WHEN: 1PM, every 2nd Saturday of the month.

This is a pot-luck style event so please bring a vegan dish or two to share. We reccomend including a recipe so people can be mindful of allergens, oil, or gluten if they're so inclined. Plus everyone gets to learn how to make some delicious vegan food! Suggested donation of $5.

Have you heard the buzz about going vegan? We’re here to help answer all of your questions and more! Check out the Roc Vegan Guide for information about local vegan options, contact us, or attend one of our scheduled events and talk to one of our insightful and passionate volunteers.

We're also excited to announce that coming April 14th to Rochester is a wonderful project by our friends at Open the Cages Alliance: the completely free Vegan Living Program!

VLP is a community-building vegan mentorship program. It features a month of in-person educational events that cover the hows and whys of vegan living, including the ethical and environmental impact of veganism, nutrition, cooking, meal planning, and being vegan in a not-yet-vegan world.

But there's no reason to wait; you can also take part in the 21 Days of Love, 3 week Vegan Challenge on Facebook. Once you join the page you'll be placed in a group of other new vegans, with a mentor where you will discuss topics about veganism, share recipes, ask questions, and gain important knowledge during your first 21 days being vegan.
